View of Beach AreaWe are on U.S. Forest Service land, in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest.

Our beach is like a fine white ribbon on the edge of the emerald green forest. It stretches for well over a mile . . . beautiful sugar sand for long walks, long swims and spectacular sunsets.

And the trails. Miles of interpretive hiking trails wander through some of the last virgin pine forest anywhere in Minnesota. A primeval forest paradise, yours to explore – and all just steps from your cottage door.

Cabins with Great View of LakeNorway Beach is on the shore of Cass Lake. By far the area’s most popular recreational lake, Cass Lake offers thousands of acres of crystal clear water for you and your family to enjoy. Exploring our many islands and bays is a vacation in itself – an adventure you won’t want to miss!

Cass Lake is an excellent fishery with walleye, jumbo perch, northern, muskie, and bass. In addition to Cass Lake, you can explore Pike Bay, Lake Andrusia, Lake Kitchie, Buck Lake, Wolf Lake and the Mississippi River from Norway Beach Resort! We can also help you get to nearby smaller lakes for bluegill, crappie and bass action.

We're only minutes from the town of Cass Lake, 20 minutes to Bemidji and 25 minutes to Walker - where you'll find shopping, golf, waterslides, logging museums, go carts, amusement parks, theatres, restaurants and much more.

Our cabins are generously spaced along the beach.

They feature modern kitchens with microwaves, built-in dinettes, sofa sleepers and comfortable beds. Relax in front of your cabin looking out towards Strawberry Point or Cedar Island. Each cabin has a fire pit so you'll be able to enjoy a campfire overlooking the lake. Every pair of cabins has its own dock, so you can "tie up" at your front door.
